I offer long and short-term psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and their families based on mutually agreed upon treatment goals, acuity, and progress in therapy. As an integrative psychologist, I incorporate psychodynamic, cultural-relational and evidence-based treatments in my practice including mindfulness-based interventions and dialectical behavioral therapy.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield & Out of Network Provider

  • Initial Consultation (~15 min) - Free

  • Initial Diagnostic Intake Assessment (~60 min) - $325

  • Individual Psychotherapy (~55 min) - $250 per session

  • Family Therapy (~55 min) - $250 per session

  • Group Therapy (~75 min) - $65 per session

 

I currently accept private pay clients and am in-network with BlueCross and BlueShield. However, most insurance companies have mental health benefits for out-of-network providers. Upon request, I can provide you with a statement at the end of each month which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Your insurance company may have a special form for such submissions, which I am happy to help you complete.

Nicole Rue, Psy.D. has a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and is a licensed psychologist in the state of Wyoming (PSY656). Nicole received her B.A. from the University of Montana, and her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. During her doctoral program, she completed training in psychodynamic and evidence-based treatments for adolescents and adults in a variety of multicultural settings. Nicole has trained in residential treatment facilities for at risk youth, inpatient addiction facilities, community mental health centers, college counseling centers, and outpatient clinics. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral training at CU Boulder’s interdisciplinary student health center. She has worked as a staff psychologist in eating disorder treatment programs that include outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care. Her specializations include eating disorders, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and grief counseling. Nicole utilizes a relational approach in concert with experiential and behaviorally-based interventions to provide holistic care. She values diversity and maintaining an open and safe therapeutic environment for clients from all walks of life. Nicole’s clients appreciate her expertise, humor, and direct approach. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys traveling to new places, connecting with friends and family, and walking her dogs along the Snake River.
